BGU: Using Your Talent Wisely

Are you wasting your time and talent in a dead end job which is leading you nowhere?

Does the idea of going into work make your stomach reflexively hurt?

You are not alone. I spent the first five years of my post college career languishing in jobs that sucked.  Writing, cooking, and music are what helped me to get through this very painful time in my life. They also helped me to network my way into my dream career.

Today's podcast is all about using your talents wisely to leverage yourself into a better career.

BGU-Coping With The Relocation Blues

Congratulations, on your life-changing relocation. Just a few months ago, you were going through the stressful process of coordinating a geographic move. You had no idea what to expect from your new place. Perhaps, you moved for a better job, relationship, dating prospects, family, or even an all round fresh start. Now, the newness of your city has worn off a bit. Perhaps, you are regretting ever moving in the first place.

Realize that you are not alone in this feeling. Eventually, it will pass or you will decide to pack up and relocate again. I understand exactly what you are going through. I have been on the move every few years since 1992.
